A New 100 Calorie Treat
Made a quick run to SuperTarget at lunch to pick up necessities (milk, Mr. Clean, printer cartridge, Market Pantry Raspberry Blackberry sparkling calorie free water, toothpaste for P) and of course I went down the snack aisle. I'm a big fan of the 100 calorie packs, seeing as how I have no control when it comes to portions and the way I've been eating lately, I'll be needing that wardrobe back that I donated to charity after I finally lost my baby weight last year. So I'm making the 100 calorie packs my afternoon snack.
Anyway, the above York 100 Calorie Peppermint Wafer Bars called my name and ended up in my cart. And they are tasty! The are 7 packages in the box ($2.99) and each package has two long slim chocolate-covered wafers with a peppermint creme in the middle. I'll definitely be buying these again and will also be searching for the Reese's version.

I'll have to try those! I LOVE 100-calorie packs - I just bought the Cheezit ones, and let me tell you how happy I was to see how many Cheezits they jam-packed into that teeny bag. TONS. It was GLORIOUS.
funny... as I was reading your delicious description I was thinking...I wonder if there is a Reese's version of this?
I'm totally getting some of these next time. I have to hide them in my office b/c the girls will eat my treats in .02 seconds.
I really love the Lorna Doone 100 cal packs! For when you're in a vanilla mood instead of chocolate.

Cheezits! Yum!
And Beth- Lorna Doones are my absolute most favorite cookie ever!
Holly- I also have hidden treats, both at home, and at work too! Mine, mine, all mine!
Slim, we must try the Reese's! Maybe as treats at the bday party party next week? She won't mind if we have 100 calorie packs instead of cake, will she?
I've tried the Cheetos ones and they really are tasty. I was quite skeptical but pleasantly suprised.
I added you to my Blogroll if that's cool with you.
M- that's great! Where's your blog? It's not listed in your profile.
Oh I'm totally going to seek these out! I also discovered a really good new one lately... Nonni's Biscotti (found the box at Wal-mart). They're only 100 calories each and delish - but the box doesn't scream "100 calories!" so you kind of have to look for it.
Well crap, I'll be fixing that.

Right now it's the super depressing saga of my cheatin bastard.
But, it'll make you appreciate your own at the very least.
Gotta love 100-calorie packs...but...love them too much as I always eat 3 or 4 bags at once! Oops!
