That's what I have planning for this weekend!
And I'm so excited!
Tonight Mr. Sasha is taking The Politician to see a dinosaur show, and so The Wild Child and I will have a nice evening at home and hopefully have some good quality time together.
I haven't said a lot about this on the blog, but WC has been having major issues with bedtime for the last 3 months due to her Sensory Processing Disorder. She has also being going through a "Daddy Only" phase at the same time, and those two things together have made for a stressful time at the Sasha house.
Our OT thought maybe WC was picking up on my anxiety about the situation, but although I feel a lot better since I went up on my anxiety meds, it hasn't changed WC's feelings about letting me comfort her.
So we'll see how tonight goes and maybe tonight will break the cycle and I can help her get to sleep without Mr. Sasha being there.

Good luck with the WC! :) Have a great weekend!
good luck. My prayers are with you re: the sensory issues!!!
Good luck with WC and enjoy your nothing weekend. I just love me a weekend when I can just be...ya know?! :)
Good Luck. We are having bedtime issues with Angry Toddler too. Total nightmare the past two weeks.
My SPD child takes a 1/2 mg of melatonin from GNC right before bed. Before we discoved melatonin, he stayed up LATE. Now he's asleep by 8. Look it up/talk to your doc about it. It's been a godsend for us.
Awwwww...I'll be praying that the cycle breaks soon. I know that's hard.
You'll have to let us know how the dino show goes. They're coming to Tulsa and we've debated going.
Sasha, I am so sorry.. That kind of stress can really take a toll on you.. please keep us posted!
I am reading this after the fact--but I hope that is worked out for you and that you had a wonderful evening with WC!
You need to post a report on how the Mommy and WC night went! I hope she did great for you!
