I am crushed. Defeated. Saddest I have ever been.
Yesterday at Wally World I was picking up a few things we had forgotten to get before the Father's Day dinner at the ILs. I tossed a pack of Mike's Light in my cart along with all the other random things we needed because I always need Mike's Light.
Checking out, I saw a message flash on the screen as the cashier scanned the Mike's:
Is customer under 40?
The damn whipper-snapper chose NO!
Unbelievable- do I look over 40?????????
(And really, I should be honest and tell you I don't actually want your honest opinion- I just need about 20 commenters telling me I totally don't look a day over 30 to re-set my confidence meter).
Go.

You honestly don't look a day over 30! I am guessing the cashier thought you were at least 25, and wanted to save themselves the trouble of the whole checking id business.
LOL!! Omg, I totally thought you were in your 20's - and that is not a lie at all!! You look way young!!!
You most definitely don't look 40!
I'm sure he was just trying to save you (and him) some time and not card you.
Sash! You so do not look like you're in your 40s! You look late 20s! They were just avoiding having to check your id and all that. I bet if you select yes then you have to enter bday or somethin.g
You definitely don't look 40. Cashiers are just sometimes really lazy. They do the same thing to me, and I refuse to believe that I look 40.
OMG! that cashier needs to be punched in the face!!!
late 20's early 30's yes!
over 40? not a freaking chance!
Sorry... my other comment didn't make sense...
What I was TRYING to say was that the checkout person at WW was being lazy because you don't look a day over 25.
You look amazing to me!
You do not look 40!! Kids are just stupid nowadays! Too many drugs.
Ummm, no you don't look like you are over 40! WTF!
You are too funny. I am sure the cashier selected No because they knew you were over 21 but not close to 40 and was just to lazy to ask for an id.
You look my age (28). I would bet that the kid was just being lazy. He knew you were over 21 and didn't want to bother checking your ID.
You do not look a day over 30!! Come on!! Sometimes these people can be SO ridiculous! In Atlanta, over Memorial Day, they refused to sell my Father in law beer when he just brought his credit card to the counter and not his whole wallet. They Id'd my FIL! He is in his 60's!!! Seriously....
I think he was just being lazy and didn't want to bother lloking at you ID because you def. don't look 40!
It's sort of a turning point in our lives when we WANT to be carded, isn't it?!
I'm sure the checker was just being lazy and didn't want to enter your info. in. Probably figured you were definitely over 21, so slacked off.
Of course you don't look a day over 29. =)
Yep i'm gonna have to say that you don't look a day over 30!!
I know you won't believe me but it doesn't feel any better on the other end of the scale. I look young - like seriously young - and I get people at my door asking if my mom is home! So don't worry maybe they were just lazy and didn't want to ask for your ID to make sure!
You look so under 30!!! whatev....they were just rushing you along in line!!!
I'd put money on 27 any day ...
Seriously, you don't look anywhere near the age of 40, more like 28. I'm serious.
I was all excited a few weeks ago when I was carded at Outback Steakhouse in the Orland airport. Then, she carded my 62 year-old mother and I then saw the huge sign that read "WE CARD EVERYONE"
Girl - you look like you are in your late 20's - if that!! The checker just did that so you wouldn't have to pull out your ID.
Hope your 20 comments helped restore your faith!! Ha, ha!!
OK, if i didn't think this for real I just wouldn't post anything at all. So here it goes. To me, you look like you're 25 years old. Don't give it another thought.
LMAO Sasha!!! That is one lazy ass WM cashier. I can guarantee the aforementioned lazy ass cashier never actually looks at the purchaser and just types in "over 40" to save his lazy ass from having to type in a real DOB. My honest opinion...you are right at 28 years old.
A lot of cashiers "know" if your of age and just hit NO regardless. Don't be sad!
It could be worse...I'm 28 with 3 kids and I still get carded for cigarettes and alcohol. Really? You don't think I'm 18??? I'm sure I've got a few grays to prove my age lol!
