by Pamela Des Barres and imagined myself living the tales. Although shy and ever-conscious of authority, I longed to be a bit more daring and have that exciting life that revolved around rock and roll.

So when the movie Almost Famous
starring Kate Hudson came out 2001, I was so excited! Another chance to have a glimpse of that life that sounded so very intoxicating and thrilling to me. I wasn't disappointed at all- I found it to be enthralling and I couldn't take my eyes away. Genius, pure genius.

I love Almost Famous and I have to watch You've Got Mail anyttime it's on tv. But the moive that made the biggest impact on me has been Torch Song Trilogy, I saw it in my 20's.
I am a lover of movies, but my all time fave is The Notebook. I sob every time I watch it. The chemistry between Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling is ELECTRIC! I could go on and on...a close second is Dirty Dancing whichI have seen 20 million times! No one puts Baby in the corner!

I saw a documentary on HBO shortly after he died about a group of people who wanted to meet with him and tell him how much he touched their lives with his films. He didn't meet with them though. They left a movie in his mailbox that they'd made and John sent it back.
