We were beginning to think the Sasha family brushed teeth way too well.
At 7 years and 2 months old, P was feeling quite left out since he had not yet lost a tooth.
That was remedied last night when he lost not one, but two!
We heard the going rate was a $1 per tooth (is this right?) so that's what the tooth fairy left him and he was excited and dashed into the bathroom this am while I was drying my hair to show me.
Another milestone...... he's growing up way too fast for my tastes, though.

Our tooth fairy leaves $5 for the first tooth and .25 for each thereafter. The only time it's more than .25 is if it's the first, last, or a lost tooth due to a traumatic event. Luckily, our tooth fairy has come out easy as there's been no loss remotely traumatic; not for lack of trying on the tadpoles part. :)
I'm so happy to see your tooth fairy's going price....The child I babysit for had a tooth fairy leave him $20...and then he complained that it wasn't a lot.
I don't know when I started losing baby teeth but the last two didn't come out until I was an adult. I didn't even know I hadn't lost them all until a dentist pointed it out to me. I had to get braces as an adult and the ortho wanted them removed beforehand, otherwise I'd probably still have them.
I never got much from the toothfairy when I was growing up. We always got like a nickel or a dime. I remember complaining about it once and my dad said the tooth fairy already had a lot of teeth so they weren't as valuable anymore.
My friends always got way more than I did. I have no idea what the going rate is now. Don't know anyone with kids around that age.
