Hell and Back
by Natasha Madison
BLURB
Meeting him was a fluke. Dating him was a mistake. Watching him become a drug addict put me through hell. Running was my only option.
***
I'm running from my demons and when I find out she's trying to escape her past, I know what I have to do.
One broken cop. One woman fighting for her life. A fragile love.
Sinister secrets that threaten to tear them apart.
They've been to hell. The hard part will be finding their way back together.

My review: 4 stars!
First, I need to start by saying I can't believe this is just Natasha Madison's second book! She is so talented! Although this was so very different from her first book, the sports romance Something So Right, her style continued to be one that drew me in to the story so quick and she writes emotions so well, you almost feel like you personally know the characters. This book is at time heart-breaking, and at others heart-warming.
Poor Bella- what a rough time she has had! I was so glad to see her be able to get to a safe place for her toddler daughter Lilah. Her neighbor Jackson, who is a police detective, immediately sees that Bella and Lilah are running from something and feels a need to help. I loved their slow burn relationship between Jackson and Bella and how it developed through the book, and how he cares for Lilah as well. There is a serious twist that I did not see coming, and some very serious topics dealt with. Natasha Madison handles them so well- again, I am just amazed by her talent.

About Natasha Madsion
When her nose isn't buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she's in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It's a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn't listen to her...
